20 RE-ENTRY One Direction I would 1

Does everyone realise that it is already September and therefore officially autumn (!) has arrived?! But according to the highest new entry this week I just have to ‘Think Positive’. Even though Luke Britnell didn’t proceed into Bootcamp on the 10th edition of the UK X-Factor show his original song performed last night during his first audition definitely caught my attention. However it just wasn’t enough to dethrone Jessie J who can hold onto the number 1 spot for a second week with ‘It’s My Party’. But please do judge for yourself what you think of Luke’s charming song.

For some reason I completely ‘ignored’ Katy Perry’s ‘Roar’ over the past few weeks despite listening to it every day at work. Initially I thought it’s an old song of hers until it was pointed out to me it’s her latest single. Ironically it was released the same day as Lady Gaga’s ‘Applause’ – which can hold onto the 10th position this week – and I guess that’s how I didn’t pay full attention to Katy. Nevertheless here she is with ‘Roar’ which stormed to Number 3 in it’s first week. It is actually her first appearance since she was last seen back in 2010 with ‘The One That Got Away’! Strange video though I must admit.
