Future

First day of March and what can I say, besides me (probably foolishly) thinking that I might have discovered a future hit! Out of nowhere did Jess Glynne appear with her catchy pop song ‘Hold My Hand’ and stormed to the Top spot to become the 7th Number One in 2015 so far! This left Italy’s Giusy Ferreri reeling to a disappointing (for her) second position with ‘Ma Il Cielo è Sempre Più Blu’.

Various countries across Europe have chosen their songs for this years Eurovision Song Contest, however only one country managed to convince me with their choice. ‘The Winner’ goes to Hungary’s Boggie with ‘Wars For Nothing’ – a very calm pop ballad which almost reminded me of Russia’s ‘What If’ by Dina Garipova back in 2013! Though a higher ranking than the 12th place could not be justified due to the late entry.

Slovenia did chose their song as well, but instead of the winner, I was happy to discover a kind of folk/country yet very catchy song which debuted at number 4 this week. Gadi’s ‘Daj Mi Daj Mi Daj’ relativised the whopping results of Nina Pušlar who has to settle for 7th and 14th place this week.

Not music related but yet worthy to announce is that I managed for the first time in a very long time to hit the gym and do 5 workouts this past week (including swim training) which makes me very happy (and achy right now) as I haven’t done this in a very long time due to various injuries. Stay tuned for more updates on this, but in the meantime enjoy the music!!!
