Up & Down

On a day like today I do wish I would be invited to the Grammy’s in Los Angeles like my friend Josh Bentley is. I do realise that I cannot sing, though I think my valuable contribution to music in form of my very own Top 20 is worth some recognition! Maybe one day. This leaves me to this weeks charts which had seen some interesting developments.

In a very dramatic last minute fashion entry for example Olly Murs & Demi Levato did manage with ‘Up’ to not only disrupt Sam Hunt’s amazing country ‘House Party’ but also deny Denmark to become this years first Eurovision Number 1 which will be represented by Anti Social Media with ‘The Way You Are’ and has to settle for the second spot.

Besides Trijntje Oosterhuis (Netherlands) being the only non-mover at Number 18 it meant it was all Up & Down across the board in this weeks Top 20, with the biggest fall happening to The Saturdays being pushed six places down to number ten with ‘What Are You Waiting For’.

Sam Hunt & Scotty McCreery are getting Country company as well, in form of ‘Much Too Young (To Feel This Damn Old) by – I would almost say legend – Garth Brooks who makes is debut at Number 5 edging out OMI’s ‘Cheerleader’ which – can you believe it – is still a number one hit in Australia and Denmark!!!

Last but not least, watch out for Ellie Goulding’s ‘Love Me Like You Do’, another late entry missing out on the Top 10 at Number 13. But as we know and according to herself ‘Anything Could Happen’
