Christmas Week No. 51

Despite the fact, that ‘How Will I Know’ and ‘Power Of Love’ lost a few ranks in this weeks charts, it is without a single doubt that this weeks winner clearly is Britain’s X-Factor sensation Sam Bailey, who rose to fame by taking the competition’s crown with her very own adaptation of Demi Lovato’s ‘Skyscraper’.

Needless to say it became not only Enrico’s Christmas Number 1, but also shot to the top spot in the Irish and UK charts!!! I would also like to point out that the rare occasion happened that the number 3 in Enrico’s Hitlist also matches the third spot in the British Top 40. Well done Leona Lewis!

And yes since it’s Christmas I’d also like to share the second highest entry in this weeks Top 20.  It is one of the best-selling singles of all time in the UK, however this time performed by the US TV-show cast of Glee! Yes, ‘Mary’s Little Boy Child’ which was an immense success by Boney M. has now captured my attention and narrowly denied Sam her claim to fame!
