I am terribly sorry about todays late release of this weeks Top 20! Anyway better late than never though right?! I will try to keep it short this evening and focus more on the various re-apperances in the middle of the field and surely you have already noticed the unchanged top 3 positions which means Icona Pop & Charli XCX successfully defended their Number 1 spot for a second week in a row!

However – the biggest re-entry this week goes to Irish Rock Band The Cranberries and their hit single ‘Dreams’ which originally was released back in 1992. They first appeared in Enrico’s Hitlist back in March 2007, stayed in the Top 20 for 19 weeks in total and collected 189 points, which currently ranks them on All Time Spot 217! Such a wonderful song to listen to!

Another re-introduction into my Top 20 comes from the Japanese Anime hit series Neon Genesis Evangelion with the ‘Opening Theme’! This is just another example of how international Enrico’s Hitlist really is! Not to sound silly, but this is actually a song I could listen to all the time. No wonder that it is ranked as All Time Top 20 and needless to say that it has spent 62 weeks in the charts since it was first seen in March 12 years ago! For those who are interested: this kind of rock tune song has accumulated 723 points so far, obviously the highest for an anime based TV series.

And I do have to post this song, because it gets me into such a good mood and don’t worry, I won’t dwell on about it too much! Last seen in 2005 Dutch Eurodance Band Twenty 4 Seven made a comeback on Position 17 with their smash hit ‘Slave To The Music’ which originally was released in 1993! The song so far has enjoyed 12 weeks of success in Enrico’s Hitlist since it first showed up back in April 2002. At this stage the song is listed at All Time position 241 with 138 points and I will let you go to bed with the question: Aren’t we all slaves to the music?!
