Changes

I might change my actual release day of ehCharts to Mondays, but I’m not 100% sure about that. What I’m sure about though is that the past week has had some big changes in the Top 20! I also can’t believe the first month of 2017 is already over!

As Eurovision is starting to get going – with various countries having picked already their song – you will also see some of those entries most likely in Enrico’s Hitlist such as Belarus’ ‘Historyja Majho Zyccia’ storming to an unexpected third position. It’s Belarus second highest entry ever in ehCharts. The record is still held by Alexandra & Konstantin and their catchy pop-folk tune ‘Galileo’.

Also related to Eurovision is the new Number 1 called ‘Better On My Own’ by Krista Siegfrids. Some of you might recall her entry for Finland ‘Marry Me’ which I thought was a great song (despite not doing great in the actual contest). This year she will try to seek success in Swedens infamous Melodifestivalen, but with another song which I’m looking forward to hear. In the meantime she surely appreciates her top spot!

One rarity occurred this week in form of The Gipsy Kings who managed to sneak in at Number 4 with ‘Baila Me’ and in doing so kicking out their very own ‘Medley’ which did well the first three weeks of the year. What a week!
