Wild

I just had a scary moment with a few of my songs as they were suddenly gone out of my iTunes and nowhere to be seen/found! Luckily I had been recording the last few weeks of my charts so I knew exactly what five songs I had to recover!

If I wouldn’t have found them I probably would have become a ‘Wild Child’, which coincidently has stormed to the top position. It was performed by Ace Wilder at the first round of the Melodifestivalen, which is the Swedish Preselection process to find their Eurovision Entry. Ace Wilder is not unknown and already had hits with ‘Do It’ and ‘Don’t Worry’, but this time she hit the jackpot climbing to Number One!

Another new entry can be seen at Number six and also relates to Eurovision, though this one is dating back to 1977, the year Germany was represented by a group called Silver Convention and guess what: ‘Telegram’ was performed in English and is very very catchy, though perhaps today’s lyrics probably would be replaced by Instagram!

Not really new to Enrico’s Hitlist, but new to this year reset is of course One Direction and their smash hit (well in my point of view) ‘I Would’. It is one of the songs where I’m confident that it would have been very popular if it had been released as a single. I would have 😉
