You probably notice two things in Enrico’s Top 20 this week: a) quite a lot of non-movers including Labritnth & Emeli Sande successfully defending their number 1 spot for a second week in a row and b) more or less the return of Glee! Yes, I need to confess here that I am a fan of this US TV-Show and if a song is covered reasonably well it has a very high potential of entering my charts. Actually there is a 3rd thing you might also spot: Jess Penner not only managed to place one but two new songs in my charts! Well done and if this success continues she’s a serious contender to become Newcomer of the Year!
Anyway, as I don’t want to spoil any Glee episode for my European friends I have decided to share Karmin’s ‘Brokenhearted’ with you this week, a song which came 6th in the 2012 year-end charts and it is still going strong in 2013 occupying the 2nd spot after the first 4 weeks! Personally I think it is one of those songs from the minute it start’s you’re totally hooked!!! Don’t you agree?!
