Movements

The second week of ehCharts 2015 had his first big movements and already a change at the top spot! Scotty McCreery’s ‘Feelin’ It’ did have an impact (desire for summer holiday perhaps?!) and has claimed the number one position. Furthermore you will notice that last weeks Number 1 has to settle at number seven this week.

For those Eurovision Fans out there (and I know you are out there!) you might be pleased to see that this years winner of the Dutch selection Trijntje Oosterhuis makes her debut with ‘Walk Along’ at rank 2 this week and successfully continues on last years single called ‘Calm After The Storm’ by The Common Linnets!

Further success comes from another Eurovision participant representing Spain last year with ‘Dancing In The Rain’. Y’all know that I am talking about Ruth Lorenzo who released her first album ‘Planeta De Azul’ and storms to number 3 with ‘Gigantes’, which has been also a success in the Spanish Singles Charts.

Lastly I would like to point out that all kinds of music have the chance to enter ehCharts, as you will see with the BBC News Countdown being one example or Jennifer Lopez’ Hip Hop single ‘I Luh Ya Papi’ another. Check out the videos below and enjoy and thanks for checking in!

  1. Did the Netherlands really send a jazz singer to Eurovision? I have her interpretation of Walk on By in my itunes library, can’t see that sort of song making it to Eurovision…

    1. I didn’t even know she was a jazz singer, but yes she will be representing the Netherlands at this years Eurovision Song Contest. I hope it does well though!
